Shona works tables at Wendys.
She's repeatedly been asked not to but a vocation is a vocation and a sperm whale is hard to remove from a fast food restaurant.
She remains there to this day.
Shona is believed to be the origin of the 'Ma'am, this is a Wendys' meme.

Each whale is unique and follows the shape and character of the wood. This ouece so nearly stands on its own, just needs a little help or something to lean on. Features some lovely wooden barnacle tattoos, picked up in the Mid Atlantic some years ago.

The driftwood is treated ready to work with and then gently whittled, burned and gilded into a one-of-a-kind pieces of art, ready to tell their tales from across the oceans.
